Children of all ages need physical activity intensely depending on their age and skill.
On a weekly basis, children aged between 5-17 years must have an extra-curricular activity such as swimming, tennis, basketball at least 2-3 times a week to streng the muscles and to have strong bones and to prevent childhood obesity.
However, play outside the school if it is allowed by school requirements is not restricted to well-organized places (eg suitable playgrounds with care) and always under the supervision of Parents-Guardians.
Of course, there is no better way to avoid exposure of our children on the screen (allowable time in front of the screen about 2 hours a day maximum) from the game or sport. We do not forget, of course, when we go out in the sun to wear a hat, light clothes, use sun cream and avoid the dangerous hours between 11.00 - 16.00.
